Skoolaborate Terms of Participation:

All participating schools will agree to meet the terms of service as supplied by Linden Labs.

All participating schools will agree to ensure that their students act within the behavioural guidelines as set out by Linden Labs. School will be responsible for the behaviour and comments of their own students.

Partner Agreement and Commitments:

The administration, collaboration, clarification, explanation and negotiation involved in engaging participants is time consuming.

For this reason we have set an indication of our minimum expectations for those who wish to join Skoolaborate. This is what we have listed

(Indicative) Minimum Commitment:

Attendance at a 1 hour 'in world meeting' once per fortnight to share ideas and learn a new skill
Regular input by staff or students into the Blog and/or Wiki to document experiences (adding research findings etc)
Develop and document at least 1 'in world' educational activity each 6 months
The co ordination and running of 1 'in world' collaborative event per half year (perhaps the activity developed above?)
Participation in an activities with another partner school each quarter
Contributions towards financial or in kind aspects of the project (this could include gaining sponsorship, consultancy, learning tools, etc)
Minimum of 1 year commitment to the above with at least 6 students
Actively seek and encourage the partnership from another school from a different country
Share the vision of the project in improving learning outcomes for students world wide
